We are happy that you feel at home at the Musei Reali, but remember that the museum is an institutional place: we invite you to follow an appropriate conduct, respecting the spaces, the works on display and other visitors.
For this reason, we invite you not to run and not to shout, and not to touch the works in any way. We remind you that smoking is also prohibited in exhibition spaces, even using electronic devices.
The people accompanying the groups are responsible for all members of the group: check all conditions when you book.
Identify and respect the museum signs: in the room, turn off or silence the mobile phone.
In general, we recommend that you maintain a moderate tone of voice.
In case of emergency, carefully follow the instructions of the room staff and pay attention to the illuminated signs.
Pets are not allowed on the visit itinerary, except for guide dogs.
Food or drink is not allowed inside the exhibition itinerary, with the exception of water: please do not leave the voids along the way. There is a cafeteria service available in the Court of Honor, you can at any time stop and resume your visit.
At the Musei Reali it is possible to draw, always taking into account the spaces and other visitors. Allowed materials are paper and pencil or pen. To use other materials, it is necessary to check their compatibility with the environmental conditions of the Museums, so we invite you to contact the staff of the Educational Services. We remind you not to dirty chairs, benches or walls, and to check the state in which you leave the room to those who will come after you.

What are the opening days of the museums?
The Musei Reali’s complex is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30 to 17:00 for the Royal Gardens, while the exhibition is open from 9:00 to 19:00. The ticket office closes at 18:00. However, the closure, like the opening, requires time and the observance of precise measures: the closure operations begin 15 minutes before the closure of the route, 45 minutes before the closure of the entire complex to the public.

WHAT CAN I VISIT WITH THE Musei RealiTICKET?
The ticket is unique and includes all the rooms of the Musei Reali. Temporary exhibitions hosted in the Chiablese halls are not included. To find out about fares and discounts on

IS IT POSSIBLE TO BOOK MY TICKET ONLINE TO VISIT MUSEUMS?
Yes, by accessing the page dedicated to the Musei Reali on the Midaticket.
WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT METHODS?
At the ticket office of the Musei Reali it is possible to make the purchase by credit card, debit card and cash.
WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE TICKET?
The ticket is valid for one day. It is possible to leave and re-enter the Musei Reali complex during the day of ticket issuance.
IS BOOKING MANDATORY?
Reservations are not mandatory, but guarantee priority entry. We remind you that you can buy tickets online on the coopculture.it website or directly at the ticket office. However, we remind you that the ticket office closes 1 hour before the closing of the museum complex, so it is necessary to buy tickets by planning the time of the visit.
CAN I CHANGE MY BOOKING? WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M LATE?
Changes to the reservation are not allowed. In case of delay, the ticket will still be delivered, but priority entry is not guaranteed.
ARE THERE INTEGRATED TOURIST CARDS FOR MUSEUMS AND TRANSPORT?
he Musei Reali are part of the Museums Subscription and Torino + Piemonte Card circuit dedicated to tourists. Transport can also be included in the Torino + Piemonte Card. For more info www.turismotorino.org/card/.
IS THERE A PREFERENTIAL LANE FOR HOLDERS OF THE TORINO + PIEMONTE CARD OR THE MUSEUM SUBSCRIPTION CARD?
Yes, there is a differentiated lane for people who have already purchased their tickets or a season ticket online.
ARE THERE CUMULATIVE TICKETS WITH OTHER TURIN MUSEUMS?
The ticket purchased at the Musei Reali is not cumulative to visit other Turin museums. If you intend to visit more than one site and do not have a Museums Subscription, you may be interested in the combinations proposed by Torino+Piemonte Card, which may include agreements with the GTT transport company.
HOW MUCH DO GUIDED TOURS COST AND HOW DO I BOOK THEM?
The service is not active during this period, this does not exclude the possibility of visiting the Musei Reali with an external guide, with the exception, in the case of groups, of the obligation to book.
WHO IS ENTITLED TO FREE ADMISSION OR REDUCTIONS?
The following are entitled to free admission: EU citizens under 18 years of age, people with disabilities and their companion, teachers with school groups, students of the Academy of Fine Arts, tour guides with groups, staff of the Ministry of Culture, holders of Museum Subscriptions, Torino+Piemonte Card, ICOM card holders. Rooms Young people between the ages of 18 and 26 are entitled to a reduced ticket of €2.

HOW LONG DOES THE VISIT TO THE MUSEUMS LAST?
The average duration of the visit to the Museums is about 3 hours, but of course a lot also depends on your specific interests. For this reason, we recommend that you buy your ticket, online or at our ticket office, considering the closing time of the rooms in advance. IS THERE A GUIDE TO THE EXHIBITION ITINERARY?
A guide is not available at the moment, but there are panels and captions in the exhibition rooms. A map of the spaces is available free of charge at the ticket office, which can be downloaded before the visit. You can also explore the 3D model of the complex, download a short guide and a map of the complete route with the points you cannot miss.
ARE THERE AUDIO GUIDES OF THE MUSEUMS AND APPS THAT CAN BE DOWNLOADED FOR SMARTPHONES?
There is a downloadable app: Musei RealiTurin, the audio guide can be purchased directly at the ticket office.
IS THERE A WARDROBE FOR BAGS, BACKPACKS AND STROLLERS?
The cloakroom for visitors is active. NB.: It is not possible to leave large luggage (trolleys, suitcases and the like). Here you can find options for your large format luggage
ARE THE MUSEI REALI WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, the Musei Reali are wheelchair accessible: from the New Wing you can access all the exhibition sections via ramps and elevators. Check here where to find them.
ARE THERE WHEELCHAIRS AVAILABLE?
Yes, there are wheelchairs available, on request, at the ticket office.
IS THERE A CHILDREN’S AREA ALONG THE ROUTE?
There is a baby pit stop along the Museums visit itinerary in the Archaeology in Turin section of the Museum of Antiquities (Floor -1): it is a place where you can take a break with your children, breastfeed and change your baby. There is also a creativity space, on the second floor of the Savoy Gallery, where older children can independently carry out drawing activities, in relation to the temporary exhibition in progress. IS IT POSSIBLE TO ACCESS THE ROYAL GARDENS?
Admission to the Gardens is free. The Gardens are open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
WHAT ARE THE ROYAL LIBRARY HOURS?
The Library is open at different times from the Musei Reali. For information visit the timetables page.
DO YOU ORGANIZE GUIDED TOURS AND EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS?
Yes. The Musei Reali organize guided tours and workshops for the public. For information visit the education page.
ARE THERE REFRESHMENT POINTS IN MUSEUMS?
Inside the Musei Reali there is the Historical Cafeteria which is also accessible without a ticket to the Museums and is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 19:00. In the cafeteria you can have lunch and take a break during the visit.
NOTICE: Until early April 2025, the Royal Café will be closed to the public to carry out the silverware and furniture restoration project.
IS THERE A BOOKSHOP?
The Museum Shop is located on the second floor of the New Channel, along the route of the Sabauda Gallery. Hours: 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
At our Museum Shop you will also find publications of our collections and exhibitions.
NOTICE: The Museum Shop is currently being refurbished, it will reopen soon!
IS IT ALLOWED TO CONSUME FOOD AND DRINKS?
The collections of the Musei Reali are delicate and for this reason we ask those who visit them not to touch the works and not to consume food and drink in the rooms.
IS IT ALLOWED TO TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEOS?
It is possible to take photographs for personal use in all rooms, but without using the flash or stabilization devices such as tripods or selfie-sticks. There may be limitations in case of temporary exhibitions. For photographs for professional use (for study or publication) or commercial use, it is necessary to contact the MRT documentation office.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Animals cannot be brought into the exhibition itinerary, with the exception of service dogs for people with disabilities. In the gardens, on the other hand, dogs are allowed, but only if they are muzzled and on a leash: for their custody during the visit it is possible to use the bauadvisor service by booking directly from the www.bauadvisor.it website.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO BRING IN BICYCLES?
It is not possible to use bicycles inside the Court of Honour and the Royal Gardens, it will be necessary to drive them by hand. There is a bike rack reserved for visitors near the ticket office.
HOW FAR ARE THE MAIN TRAIN STATIONS?
The Musei Reali of Turin are located 20 minutes walk from Porta Nuova station and less than 30 minutes walk from Porta Susa station. Both stations are connected to the Museums by numerous urban lines. Visit the www.gtt.to.it website
WHAT IS THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT THAT GOES TO THE MUSEI REALI?
There are many public transports that take you to the Musei Reali, from the FS Stations and from the different districts of the city. (Piazza Castello stop for lines 15, 13, 55, 56, MUSEI REALI stop for lines 11, 27, and 4). There is also a taxi station in Piazza Castello, as well as several bike sharing and scooter programs.
ARE THERE HOTELS NEAR THE MUSEI REALI?
The Musei Reali are located in the heart of Turin, and therefore there are many options of hotels, B&Bs, for all spending ranges, available through the main search engines in the sector.
ARE THERE PARKING SPACES FOR CAMPERS NEAR THE MUSEUMS?
There are no parking spaces for campers in the center of Turin.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO TO WORK IN A MUSEUM?
Many professions coexist in the museum, which provide diversified study paths and distinct recruitment methods. We are an institution of the Italian State, so most of the people you will meet on your path have been hired through ministerial competitions. But the Coopculture dealer also works with us: your curriculum could be interesting for the offer they propose.
